Cerveza + Guava Cocktail
Here it is! Your go-to summer cocktail to cool off the hottest of afternoons and entertain (and impress) your friends. When I was browsing for cocktail inspo and saw beer as a potential ingredient, I was a little hesitant, but, after learning about the bazillion beer-based cocktails that exist, I decided to do some experimenting. Now, I’m obsessed. Give it a whirl!
ingredients
ice
2 oz tequila
2 oz guava juice
1 oz agave syrup
Juice of half a lime
Modelo beer (or similar Mexican lager)
instructions
Fill a large wine glass to the rim with ice.
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add tequila, guava juice, agave syrup, and lime. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
Pour contents over ice (mixture should fill about 3/4 of your glass).
Top with Modelo. Using a cocktail spoon, stir to combine beer with cocktail mix. Serve immediately.
