Carrot ginger is a classic flavor combination, but it’s usually found in soups and sauces. As a smoothie, however, it’s just as delicious.  



  • 2 handfuls (about 1 cup) steamed, or boiled, then cooled chopped carrots

  • Juice of 1 orange

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • 1’’ peeled, chopped fresh ginger

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • Coconut water

Toppings – 

  • Pomegranate seeds, pumpkin seeds, and more fresh orange slices



  1. Blend all ingredients in a high-power blender for about 1 minute

  2. Check consistency and blend more as needed (adjust the amount of coconut water to desired consistency) 

  3. Serve in a bowl and add desired toppings
